I agree and think you have some good insights. I think they’re are going to need a new CEO or some new VPs to get it done. I do wish the guys that did the Fantasyland expansion would come back. I am beginning to think whatever I wish Disney would do, is just the opposite of what actaully happens. So if I don’t wish for a 5th gate, we’ll get one very soon. 😂

This ride should not only close to fix the ride system it requires a properly conceived storyline with a little bit of suspense at the final drop, fully operating animatronics and something more to look at between the featured scenes. Not Disney's greatest achievement.

Because changing the theming and getting the old characters out was their biggest concern, they simply didn’t care as much about actually fixing the ride system.

I have had an idea for a while. Make a four land park each devoted to a season of the year. Winter Spring Summer and fall. It would allow them to incorporate holiday celebrations easily. It could utilize that frozen attraction from Japan. Maybe it could have a nightmare before Christmas dual land that borders between fall and winter(Halloween+Christmas town) Spring could have a Bambi attraction. Summer could have something like LILO and stitch or Moana. I’d call it 4 seasons but that’s a Disney world hotel already. It would represent the passage of time of a year.

This happens all the time with new rides I remember back in 2016 frozen was constantly breaking down left and right this isn’t new

Considering Tiana's is using the same ride system as Splash, I would imagine the constant shutdowns must have something to do with some newly implemented component. I know the new animatronics are sensor-activated so perhaps the issue is with the sensors and the animatronics are remaining static when they shouldn't. That's just speculation, though. I can't imagine the shutdowns are due to a safety issue; I can't see how the ride would be rendered unsafe from a refurbishment, unless they really screwed something up during the calculations for the retheme. In a perfect world we would have a fully functioning Tiana's Bayou Adventure AND Splash Mountain, rather than one replacing the other.

My take.. Like I'm ever going to go to other countries DI$NEY PARKS and only vacation at my DVC home resort, OLD KEY WEST RESORT, I'd love to walk into a park that holds all the other best attractions from all over the Di$ney properties right down the road from OKW. The best from China, Japan & Paris right in my own back yard. Call it The "New Magic Kingdom". Hire foreign college program kids to staff it too. Just my take. Comments....
